Paying for AM Prime Accounts
I had a question from a client today that I thought would be of use to all of you. It was about the different plans AM pushes on users to upgrade their accounts.
Most of the AM account options are designed to collect money from you. The badges you see on profile pics (like βAMβ or outlined in gold for Prime) mean the user is paying a monthly fee that, in some cases, allows women to message them for free, or lets those profiles appear first in searches.
There is also a new feature over the word-bubble "message me" button that says βFreeβ over the top. It of course means you can message them for free.
But don't waste your money!
As a man, itβs very unlikely that a woman, other than a scammer, is going to message you first. And now, having a scammer message you unlikely because AM now asks women to buy credits to the message - this is a great way to get rid of scammers because they don't want to pay - so it is to your benefit.
The other reason women wonβt message you is because most focus on the messages they receive and often donβt think to go looking.
In this light, they might not even see your account status because when they open your message or check your profile from there, they go directly to your profile. They might see the badge or whatever, but they wonβt really take notice because if they liked your message, they want to read your profile, not check out your AM status.
Your best bet is to message women who have been active in the past 48 hours. Send them a priorty message as your first message. When you send a priority (at a cost of five extra credits), the message remains at the top of her inbox, increasing the chances she will open it.
Everything I teach about AM relates to increasing your probability of being seen and messaged. That means having a good profile and sending a good icebreaker - that's where you want to invest your time and money.
Bottom Line for Men - Most AM account options are gimmicks designed to get you to pay AM more money but, for the most part, don't do anything for you.
Bottom Line for Women - Don't waste your money one of these plans, or buy credits. Let him message unless you want to go find your man. If that's the case, just buy credits.
